The Government during its meeting last Friday discussed a national programme on human rights. Cabinet ministers approved the programme and resolved to submit it to Parliament. The programme is considered to reflect the opinions of all social groups in accordance to national and international legislation on human rights and is proposed to be initiated as of 2003. The Government also discussed amendments to social security and welfare laws also planned for submission, reported a spokesperson for the Government Office.
